WE ARE FASHION WITH PURPOSE Ocean contamination is a huge problem for mankind. We do our part recycling everyday plastic packaging into plastic thread that is handwoven by our artisans in San Pedro Las Huertas, Guatemala giving life to our fun eco-friendly bags. Spreading awareness through the powerful world of fashion La Roja was made with the purpose of spreading awareness on ocean plastic pollution through the powerful world of fashion.

This is a problem that Planet Earth, as a whole, is now affected by. We believe fashion has the power and influence to modify consumer behavior by offering sustainable products and slowing down fast fashion consumption to make a change.

Our local artisans weave unique designs with recycled plastic thread. Not only do we make beautiful pieces, but we are offering income opportunities to widows and handicapped artisans in vulnerable situations.
